Regrade chances?

Hoping Dufrein(or anyone else) might be able to offer some clarity on this (also i swear there's a way to mention people but i cant remember how)

When dealing with the regrade chances https://aafree.to/forums/index.php?attachments/grades-fixed-png.2329/ how does the chance work when you use a resplendent scroll? (http://archeagedatabase.net/us/item/28297/) Does it combine the values? Diminishing returns? Clarity would be appreciated ?

i.e if I have a crafted item at divine, and use a resplendant scroll, what is the chance of epic, what is the chance of legendary? I believe it would be 12% epic, 3% legendary?

No, it does not increase the overall chance. It only adds a chance that if successful, the quality of the equipment will increase by 2 points at once.
If successful, with a 50% probability, the quality will immediately increase by 2 points. Or with a 50% probability of only 1 point.

If I used a resplendant scroll on divine crafted - I have a 15% chance of success -
So if I hit that 15% there is then a 50% chance it goes epic, and 50% chance it goes legendary?

That isn't how I understand it to have work on live, using a resplendant took the chance, in this case 15%, and gave a 4/5 chance of upgrading once, and a 1/5 chance of upgrading twice, resulting in 12% epic, 3% legendary, for 15% overall chance of success.

Yes. Everything is correct. If a success event occurs with a probability of 15%. The server will calculate and with a 50% probability the equipment will increase by 2 points at once. Thus, in general terms, we can say that the chance is 7.5%. But this is not entirely true, since the Markov chain model is used.
